Alana was trained as a teenager in musical theater. She is a self-taught songwriter who has honed her skills through a live-improv songwriting show.
Now Alana applies her training as a hypnotherapist to her affirmative lyrical style. As a process-based artist, Alana prioritizes the role that making music plays in bringing peace to her life. She hopes that the deep-love breakthroughs she makes with her creative practice will serve the listener in growing love within them too. |
Alana was trained as a writer from the Hutchins School of Liberal Studies where she was regularly challenged to weave cross-sector content with her personal experience. She was hugely influenced by her studies with Greg Sarris, author and Chairman of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria.
Trained by Isa Guccharidi in Depth Hypnosis at the Foundation for the Sacred Stream, Alana’s appreciation for the power of storytelling grew as she witnessed lives change through metaphor and memory (her own included!). |
Alana first learned the importance of inclusion and play as a public middle-school teacher in rural and urban California.
Since then, she’s been trained in the power of group reflection through Storybridge Community Performance and a variety of approaches to ritual theater. Alana has facilitated her own transformational creativity workshops and performance in California, Oregon, and Hawaii, and is looking forward to bringing the magic all over the world. |
